Cara is a 2006 graduate of
Richfield High School. At RHS, she was a tri-captain for the girl's swim and dive team, a member of National Honor Society, and an alto saxophone player and section leader in the Symphonic Winds band and woodwind captain for the marching band. Currently, she attends the University of Wisconsin Stout majoring in Retail Merchandise and Management with a concentration in Fashion Marketing and plans to minor in Business. In the fall of 2006, she received the Chancellor's Award for her academic performance.
As Richfield Ambassador Princess, Cara has enjoyed doing the princess wave to the crowds of people attending parade especially the little girls, creating friendships with other ambassador groups, experiencing all of the different festivals Minnesota has to offer, and fulfilling her role as a goodwill ambassador for Richfield and our Hometown 4th of July Celebration.
Caras favorite Richfield 4th of July Celebration event is the Grand Day Parade. This will be Caras 5th year participating in the parade and she has always felt a great sense of pride traveling the parade route, whether in a wool uniform or a formal gown.
As a 2006 candidate, Cara was proudly sponsored by Bon Auto Body. Cara is the daughter of Jim and Robin Gorman.
