Brandi Haar

Brandi is a senior at Richfield High School. She is the daughter of Raymond Haar III and Robin Jacobson. Brandi is very active in the Richfield Theatre program where she participates in multiple productions such as Chicago and A Midsummer Night's Dream. After graduating high school she plans on attending a four-year college to study biology. One day, she hopes to graduate college, have a career that she loves, and own her own home.

Brandi's favorite ambassador memory was the spaghetti-eating contest, because she loves any type of pasta. She also did great, with a time of one minute and thirteen seconds! Brand loves representing the city of Richfield and the 4th of July Celebration! Her favorite 4th of July event is the fireworks, because she has a VIP view from her backyard!

The ambassador program has taught Brandi how to expand her comfort zone and make higher quality small talk when meeting new people. She hopes to use the skills she has learned and continue to develop them as she moves on to college.

Cherish Kovach

Cherish Kovach is a senior at Richfield High School. She is the daughter of Mike and Judy Kovach. At Richfield High School, Cherish is a three-sport athlete, participating in cross-country, Nordic skiing, and track and field.

After graduating both Richfield High School and Normandale Community College with an Associate of Arts degree, Cherish will be attending the University of St. Thomas. She plans on double majoring in international business and marketing. She also hopes to study abroad in London, England and have a summer internship at Target Corporation.

Cherish's favorite ambassador memory was the Cambridge Snowflake Parade because it was her first winter parade and freezing cold! She was also grateful to see how active and supportive the community was despite the cold weather. The ambassador program has taught Cherish to be thankful for every opportunity that she is given in life. She is thankful for the opportunity to use her position as a Richfield Ambassador to help those in need and meet other people across the state of Minnesota.

Cherish's favorite 4th of July event is the parade. Out of the several parades she has attended, Cherish believes that the Richfield parade is the best and has the highest attendance. She believes that the parade illustrates how strong the Richfield community is. Cherish is very proud to represent the city of Richfield.

Deepika Pokharel

Deepika is currently a senior at Richfield High School. She is the daughter of Babu and Sharada Pokharel. At Richfield High School Deepika participates in a variety of activities such as tennis, theatre, and L.E.G.O, which is an organization that focuses on the promotion of the U.N. Millennial goals.

After high school, Deepika plans to attend a four-year college to study computer science. She hopes to study abroad during college as well. Deepika's favorite event as an ambassador was the spaghetti-eating contest because it was so much fun with her fellow ambassadors. Deepika is proud to represent the Richfield 4th of July Celebration. Her favorite 4th of July event is the Richfield Street Dance, because it is great to Richfield residents and graduates to come together for an evening of fun!

After serving as an ambassador, Deepika learned the importance proper etiquette. She also learned how to be more outgoing and make friends with people quickly. These are skills that she will use for the rest of her life.

Jacqueline Castro

Jacqueline is a second-grader at Richfield STEM School. She is the daughter of Yanet Moreno. In school, Jacqueline's favorite subject is math and English. Her dream job is to be both a gymnastics teacher and to own a famous hair salon.

Jacqueline is proud to represent Richfield and the 4th of July Celebration as a junior ambassador. Her favorite ambassador events were Northfield's Jesse James Day Parade and the Anoka Halloween parade because she dressed up as a cowgirl and an Oompa Loompa! Jacqueline's favorite part of the 4th of July is the firework display because it is always exciting year after year.

Jacqueline says that what she has learned most as a junior ambassador is to be confident while meeting new people. She also loves to visit many places across the state of Minnesota!

Jayla Inthasone

Jayla is a first-grader at Richfiel STEM School. She is the daughter of Johnny Inthasone and Maliena Phongoudom. In school, Jayla's favorite subject is math. One day, she dreams to be a doctor so she can help people.

Jayla has loved her experience as a Richfield Junior Ambassador. Her favorite ambassador moments was being crowned last July and the Anoka Halloween Parade, because she got to dress up like an Oompa Loompa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Out of the many events during the Richfield 4th of July, Jayla's favorite event is the parade.

As a junior ambassador Jayla has learned how to hold a conversation with people that she meets for the first time. Jayla says, "I'm not as shy as I used to be. I get to talk to a lot of new people!"
