For?more than 30 years the residents of Richfield and surrounding areas have celebrated our nation's independence through he Richfield Hometown 4th of July Celebration.?
This community event?is made possible solely through?our dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors.? This year, more than ever, we need your support.? Sponsoring the Richfield Hometown 4th of July Celebration allows you to participate in an event that brings the community together while reaching your target market more effectively.
We have several sponsorship opportunities.? You can either participage in the Circle of Savings program, or you can donate a cash gift, or donate a product or service.??

Circle of Savings
Button Discount:
With the Circle of Savings Discount Program, customers purchase a Richfield Hometown 4ht of July Celebration button, your business offers a discount, the customer then returns to your business to receive the discount, creating a perfect circle of savings!?
Here is how it works:
Your business will offer a discount beginning June 20th, 2010, and continuing until at least July 18th, 2010, but you have the option to run your discount longer if you would like.? To receive the discount, the person must be wearing a Richfield Hometown 4th of July button.? One discount will be allowed per person wearing the button.? We ask that the discount be at least 10% or $1.00 off an item / purchase, but you can choose to go above and behond that discount if you would like.?
As a participant in the Circle of Savings program, in addition to displaying a poster, you have three choices (please choose at least one):
1.? Sell the Richfield Hometown 4th of July Buttons at your place of business (minimum of 25 buttons)
2.? Allow our committee members or Ambassadors?to sell the Richfield Hometown 4th of July Buttons at your place of business (minimum of 4 hours)
3.? Elect to?NOT sell buttons at your place of business but still wish to participate by offering a discount?and displaying a poster ($50 fee)

Cash Sponsorship:
Are you looking for a better way to gain exposure for your business and help the community? Sponsor?a 4th of July Event and you can have it all.
In addition to your regular sponsorship benefits, you will receive added exposure during the specific event and where ever we list our schedule of events, including flyers, newspaper articles, pamphlets, etc.

Richfield's Hometown 4th of July Celebration is made possible by generous donations at any sponsorship level.? Let us help you find the right opportunity for your business.? You can donate any number of items for our events, prizes or gifts to reach every level of sponsorship you'd like to attain.?? This is considered an in-kind sponsorship and will be recognized as such.? Review the Benefits at a Glance for more details.
Ambassador Gifts
The Richfield Ambassador Program is a cornerstone of the Richfield Hometown 4ht of July Celebration.? They keep the celebratrion and spirit of the community alive all year by promoting the community throughout the state of Minnesota.? The Ambassadors could not have been as effective without all the support and donations that have been given by local businesses and community members.? This year we are asking you again for your generous donations and support in continuing to keep this program at it's best.? We are looking for gifts / donations for candidates, judges, ambassadors and items for the events that they attend and host.? Ideas for donations / gifts would include food and beverages for meetings and events, clothing for the candidates and ambassadors, and thank-you gifts for participants and volunteers.
Volunteer Gifts
Richfield's Hometown 4ht of July Celebration is planned by an all volunteer committee of about 15 people.? In addition, over 100 volunteers help execute each of the events throughout the 5-day festival.? Please help us thank these volunteers for all of their hard work by donating a gift for the volunteers.? Please note - We need 125 of each item donated to ensure ALL volunteers receive a gift.? Items donated in the past have included $25 salon gift cards, $20 misc. gift cards, free appetizer coupons, free oil change coupons, etc.
Misc. In-Kind Donations
We also need cases of water and pop for the volunteers to drink during the events.? It gets rather hot during the week of the 4th!? Bags of candy for the parade and miscellaneous items for the Family Fun Day events would be appreciated also.
Prize & gift requirements - Prizes & gifts cannot require additional purchase to redeem and cannot expire before January 1st, 2011.
